She loved her family, especially her grand, great, and her great-great grandchildren. She made lots of Marcia’s clothes and was known for making the best Cheeseballs.
She was a part of the Elks Club, and the Thoroughbred Association of Kansas. Joan and Albert raised thoroughbred racehorses, which took them all over the country racing their horses. Together she and Albert had three children. In Kiowa County, Oklahoma she married the love of her life Albert Freeman on April 7, 1951. She was born on April 5, 1932, in Nash, Oklahoma to Daniel and Eva (Zimmerman) Yoder. Joan Freeman, age 90, died Sunday, June 26, 2022, at Brookdale Liberal Springs in Liberal, Kansas.
